3.5 million hungry children in the United States: Need to keep your finals woes in perspective? Check out the results of this new survey: not only are 3.5 million children in the U.S. hungry today, but the experience promises to have lasting impacts.

A lack of nutritious food, especially in the earliest formative years, can have a lasting impact on physical and behavioral health, along with development and academic achievement.
