CKP’s 4th annual training Boot Camp is just around the corner—in terms of both time and location! This year, we’re offering Boot Camp in two locations: Evanston, IL and Washington, DC. Read on for the scoop:
What: Basic Training for running a Campus Kitchen and participating in the CKP network. We’ll teach you everything about safe and efficient operations, beyond meals programming, and the resources available from the network.
Who: Students and staff from new Campus Kitchens, as well as new students and staff from existing CKs.
When: August 3-5, 2009.
How Much: Free! Participants are responsible for their transportation and lodging at the Boot Camp location of their choice, but CKP does not charge a fee for this training. (The fine print: there is a $36 charge from the National Restaurant Association for any participant taking the ServSafe exam.)
