Another guest blog from our own Ariel Gold:

I guess it is true: all I really need to know I learned in kindergarten. This is the year that I learned to share and play fair; when I learned that cookies and milk are good for me; when I learned that when I go out in the world to watch for traffic and stick together. This was also the year I was introduced to the Clifford books and learned to “think big” about my hometown.

cliffordAt CKP, we know you have some really big ideas. We hope that your Campus Kitchen serves as a vehicle for you to test out ideas and make true change in your communities. We also know that it takes money to try out some of these ideas. We encourage you to apply for the “Be Big in Your Community“, sponsored by HandsOn Network and Points of Light Foundation. The Be Big! Grant is designed to communicate how small, simple actions can make a big difference by taking the lessons learned in Clifford the Big Red Dog books. Applications are due by June 26th.
