Meal shifts run smoothly. You have deliveries down. But when it comes to hunger advocacy in your community – do you have the resources you need to make a difference?
Join Bread for the World’s Hunger Justice leaders, and come away from their four-day advocacy training workshop armed with community organizing skills, experience lobbying Congress, and a network of support from like-minded individuals.
The workshop runs June 12 to 15. Those chosen to become a part of the Hunger Justice Leaders will receive an all-expenses paid trip to attend the workshop in Washington, D.C.
Interested in adding hunger advocacy to your Campus Kitchen repertoire? Apply here. The application requires filling out personal information, a cover letter, resume, and a personal reference. Applications are due by March 12, 2010 and applicants will be notified by April 2.
Bread for the World is a Christian-based hunger relief organization working to end hunger.
