Jordan Kough, New Site Development Manager, is an eccentric, passionate overly energetic person who loves the idea of service. He really likes sports, microbrewed beer and really bad jokes. His favorite part of working at CKP is getting to see all the cool parts of the country that are doing cool things, and networking.
Ariel Gold, the Affiliate Programs Manager, spends her time traveling all over the country meeting the next generation of leaders who are making a difference in their communities. When not at work, you can usually find her in yoga or ballet studio, or cheering on the Tarheels.
Joelle Johnson is the new AmeriCorps VISTA for CKP. Originally from Minnesota, she will be spending the year at CKP working on the MLK Day of Service project. Additionally, she will be assisting with getting more high schools involved with CKP and with new site development. Currently, Joelle is working towards graduate school for a degree in some combination of nutrition/food systems/sustainable agriculture. Besides CKP, Joelle enjoys anything and everything related to food. Current projects include canning, freezing, gardening and expanding her rapidly growing recipe collection. She is also working on becoming a savvy DC biker, playing ultimate frisbee as much as possible, and getting in her daily dose of Pandora and 6 Feet Under.
Jasmine Touton, social media coordinator, will work for the year increasing volunteerism, awareness, and the cross-pollinating of information within The Campus Kitchens Project network through promotion of social media platforms. Jasmine has a strong interest in food writing and keeps a blog on Examiner.com. Beyond social media, Jasmine enjoys playing on a club water polo team in D.C., running road races, and exploring the city through the lens of a camera.
