Happy Birthday to Us!

We did it! One full year of operations are under our belt.
And there’s definitely no pretense about it — it has been a struggle. We also still have a long way to go and to grow before we fill out our full potential as an organization. But even looking at what we have accomplished during this crazy first year, we (including you!) have a lot to be proud of.
Here are some of the highlights of the year:
Well, we’ve recovered 6816 lbs of food, delivered 1657 meals, engaged 83 volunteers in 395 hours of service, and collaborated with 11 community partners!
We’ve also strengthened our leadership team with new members. Here are the members that joined since our initial founding:

And of course our original team has continued to persevere in their efforts to make food distribution more just, to combat poverty, and to build relationships within our local community.
We want to thank you all so much for a spectacular first year, and we know things will only continue to get better.
