Meet our intern, Rose D’Angelo!

February 5, 2009 – 12:36 pm

Rose D’Angelo, Marquette University sophomore, shares a little bit about her experience with the Campus Kitchen:

“This is my second year on the leadership team and I’ve been privileged to work as an intern here and also at the Campus Kitchen at Northwestern University. I’m a sandwich professional now after making well over 5,000 this summer!

Working with the Campus Kitchen has been such a great experience for me and I encourage everyone to give it try. You not only gain a sense of servitude, fellowship, and community awareness, but you also can apply the valuable lessons you learn on a shift to your everyday life! I mean did you ever wonder if it’s ok to eat that pizza you left overnight on your dorm room floor?

The Campus Kitchen has so much to offer with leadership positions, internships, and job training. So, please stop by and give it a try!”

Rose D'angelo has been the Campus Kitchen at Marquette since Fall 2008. She is currently a sophomore at Marquette studying Social Welfare and Justice. Rose has also interned at the Campus Kitchen at Northwestern University.
