Holiday Dinner – Sunday, 11/20

In partnership with Bon Appetit and The Bridge, we will be helping to serve our annual holiday dinner to underprivileged families in St. Louis. The event takes place downtown at The Bridge, and we will be helping with set up, serving dinner, eating with the guests, and cleaning up. This is a great event to really make a difference in the St. Louis community! If you would like to volunteer, please sign up for a shift on the following Google Doc: BA Holiday Dinner Signup!

Can you believe that it’s March already? Here’s what we’re up to in kicking off this month:

Shift captain applications are due this Friday!

Being a shift captain is a great way to get involved in an exciting new opportunity available for students at Wash U. As a shift captain, you will get to learn outside of the classroom, build your resumé, meet people, have fun, feel like you did something GREAT, and really make a difference in feeding St. Louis. If you are interested in becoming a shift captain, please fill out the application at https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dFlXRTRnS0ZNT1l6R3V0bV9zb3Qzc2c6MQ by this Friday, March 4. We plan on conducting interviews before spring break and having new shift captains start after spring break.

Volunteer training, Thurs. 3/3, 8pm, our kitchen in First Congregational Church

If you haven’t been through volunteer training yet, here’s another chance to get trained so that you can volunteer this semester! Please reply to this email if you plan on attending.

Have a great week, and Campus Kitchen love,
